A one minute long animation created for the RSA Moving Pictures competition. The idea for this piece revolves around using simple shapes to create a vivacious character, than personifies and expresses Ashton Applewhite’s words. The spirited character and simple shapes are created using lines. And these lines are used to suggest age. The animation illustrates the true potential of an anti-ageist society, that allows the viewer to fully immerse themselves into the inspirational speech through the use of simple, playful shapes, colour and scenes.
